• Consistency is the Secret to Website Success

    Wax On Wax Off

People are simple creatures. We like to know what is going to happen and when. So when you’re promoting your business, website consistency should be one of the foundations of your strategy for success.

Consistency in email campaigns and blogs

If you have a database of subscribers that you send blogs or newsletters to, make sure you send them! Whether you send them daily, weekly or monthly keep the timing and quality consistent. Think about the mindset your target readers will be in when they get your email and write for them in that mindset. For example, if you are sending technical communications to their work address, you would plan differently than if you were sending social communications to their Facebook inbox.

    Consistency in social media

When it comes to social media consistency is crucial. People may only see short snippets from you from time to time, so make sure they are relevant and that you post often. You are better to get a depth of regular communication and networking going on a couple of social networks than try and spread yourself thin across too many networks. With any new means of communication it takes some time to become familiar with the culture, and more time still to discover the best way to get results for your business, so make a time commitment and stick with it.

    Consistency leads to trust

You want to develop a relationship with your readers and consumers, and like any relationship if you are consistent with giving what people are looking for you will quickly become a source they feel they trust and know.

    How consistent are you?

Take a few minutes to review if your communications are consistent with your consumers expectations, and importantly, consider the level of quality that you consistently provide in order to achieve website success.
