I love face to face networking by attending all the free and low cost events that local councils and networking organisations put on. It’s a great way to expand your network and make new friends as well as clients.

Starting discussions on LinkedIn groups really helps me make new contacts, as well as identifying how my services can benefit my prospects.

I like to get out there and see what I can do to help other business owners reach their goals. Networking events, seminars, trainings and conferences are all great opportunities for meeting and listening to potential customers, and finding ways to help them solve their problems is often the first step in building a profitable relationship. Then I enjoy following up and developing the relationships using social media – twitter’s really working for me right now as it helps me to stay in touch with, and learn about, new contacts without being intrusive.
